Junior IT Support (Paid Internship)
Job Location: Aukera office in Bucharest / Hybrid
Contract type: Full-time, 12-month paid internship with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

The role
We are seeking a proactive IT student or recent graduate to support Aukera’s global IT operations as an intern. The role will involve assisting with the administration of our Microsoft 365 environment, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, user and device management, and other business software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic international environment.
Aukera continues to grow with team members spread across Europe, highlighting the need for robust verbal and written communication skills in English. You will report to Aukera's Head of Operations in London and work closely with our IT partner in Belgium, building foundational skills in IT administration and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
System & IT Administration
· Assist with administrative activities across Aukera’s Microsoft-focused environments, including user account management, device and endpoint administration, and software update support
· Support ongoing software licensing activities
IT Hardware Procurement
· Help manage Aukera team members' IT hardware needs, assisting with acquisition, tracking and issue resolution for devices across Aukera offices
· Support identification of suppliers and products within budget and system requirements
New Software Configuration
· Assist in analyzing and configuring acquired software tools into Aukera's environment.
Security, User Support and Troubleshooting
· Support onboarding of new employees, ensuring their IT setup and equipment are prepared for their start
· Help implement security measures to safeguard company data and systems
· Assist team members with troubleshooting IT-related issues
IT Operations
· Contribute to developing and documenting standard operating procedures for Aukera's day-to-day IT processes
· Assist with management of IT hardware stock
· Help prioritize tasks and support relationships with Aukera's helpdesk vendor
Experience Required:
· Studying or recent graduate in IT-related field, or equivalent relevant coursework/skills
· Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams, gained through internships, studies or personal projects
· Basic experience with issue resolution for Microsoft/software packages or hardware (e.g., via internships, school projects, or personal use)
Additional considerations:
· Exposure to software rollout in cloud environments
· Basic knowledge of Salesforce configuration
· Interest in API enablement/admin (e.g., NetSuite)
Skills:
· Strong verbal and written skills in English and Romanian are required. Proficiency in an additional language from our offices (i.e. German, Italian) will be an advantage
· Confident in building relationships internally across the team, and with external partners/suppliers
· Naturally proactive, with ability to manage and prioritize own time and activities
