Aukera have had a development team in Romania from the very start.
Radu was the 4th person to join Aukera, and he has built a team of more than 20 professionals covering land origination, development, design engineers, and M&A, as well as the essential business and legal functions. Part of our HR & Operations team are based in Bucharest as well.
Our office in Bucharest is on a leafy street in the Dorobanți neighbourhood to the north of the city.
The team have a great working environment, celebrating each other's successes and life events, as well as collaborating and supporting each others' work. They regularly gather round the kitchen table for lunch together, and new team members are instantly welcomed into the fold.

Radu plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing operational activities, guiding the local team to secure project pipelines, advancing business development plans, and ensuring meticulous oversight of agreements, contracts, budgets and affairs.
On joining Aukera he brought a wealth of experience in renewable energy development from wpd Romania, and he sits on the board of the Romanian Wind Energy Association (RWEA).
