Our UK team includes the UK Development team, and some of the central functions for Transactions, Finance, Legal and HR.

We have offices in London and Edinburgh, where the majority of the UK team are based.

Aukera UK Development Team

  • Philip Pateman, Co-Head UK Development

    Philip was previously the UK Head of Development for Econergy International, an internation IPP covering the UK and Europe. Prior to this he worked as a Development Manager for other European developers growing their UK presence and specialising in greenfield origination and development.

  • Richard Hillam, Co-Head UK Co-Head UK Development

    Richard has been developing projects and teams for leading private sector and multinational energy companies for nearly 20 years. He has a passion for development and a drive to tackle climate change by deploying renewable energy at scale, creating a positive and lasting difference for the environment. 

Our UK Development team are a close knit team with a wide range of skills covering project development, origination, engineering, construction and community engagement.

Some of the team joined Aukera in the early days of 2021 and they are now seeing their efforts come to fruition as their projects are moving to "ready to build" in 2024.

As we are regularly on the road visiting sites around the country, we make a point of arranging "work together" days where we can be co-located, either in one of our UK offices, or at convenient locations around the country.
