Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a proactive IT professional to support Aukera's global IT-related processes, including admin for our Microsoft O365 system and our Azure cloud networks/cloud servers, as well as other business software applications.
Aukera continues to grow with team members spread across Europe, highlighting the need for robust verbal and written communication skills in English. Lastly, given you will report to Aukera's Head of Operations in London and will work closely with our IT partner in Belgium, there is significant opportunity for role expansion and developing relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
System & IT Administration
- Provide admin services across various Aukera Microsoft-focused environments, managing user accounts, server administration, helping address software updates etc.
- Oversee on-going licensing needs, including domain names, Aukera website administration etc.
IT Hardware Procurement
- Manage Aukera team member's IT hardware needs, helping acquire, track and resolve issues for devices across Aukera offices
- Help identify suppliers and products within budget and system requirements
New Software Configuration
- Help analyse and configure acquired software tools into Aukera's environment
Security, User Support and Troubleshooting
- Onboard new employees, ensuring their IT set up and equipment are ready for when they start
- Implement security measures to safeguard company data and systems
- Assist in troubleshooting IT-related user issues
IT Operations
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for Aukera's day-to-day IT processes
- Management of IT hardware stock
- Prioritize required work and support relationship with Aukera's helpdesk vendor
Experience Required:
- Background in IT support, or related field - ideally 2+ years
- Degree in IT-related field or relevant skills or experience
- Admin services for Microsoft operation systems (Office 365 and Azure)
- Issue resolution services for Microsoft/software packages and hardware equipment
- Additional considerations:
- Software rollout activities across cloud-specific network environments
- Salesforce / SmartSheet configuration services
- API Enablement activities / admin (e.g., NetSuite, etc.)
Skills:
- A confident and approachable communicator in English
- Working with people across Europe, conversational skills in Romanian, German, or Italian could add significant value
- Naturally proactive, with ability to manage and prioritize own time and activities
